Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani congratulated Donald Trump after his inauguration as the 47th president of the United States.
Through a post on the X platform, Osmani said that Kosovo is ready to cooperate with him, with Vice President JD Vance and with the entire new administration, "to strengthen our special relationship, to promote our shared values ??of freedom, and to address the challenges of our time."
"Kosovo will forever have a deep sense of gratitude for the historic role that the United States has played in supporting us, in some of the darkest chapters of our history," the congratulatory telegram distributed on X reads.
"Your country's dedication to protecting freedom and human dignity has saved our people from a genocidal regime," Osmani also said.
She added that Kosovo proudly remains "the most pro-American nation" in the world./REL
