The Kosovo Police has arrested an official of the Agency for Civil Registration in Kosovo after suspicions that he helped with documentation the citizen of MD, who was declared an international wanted by Interpol for criminal narcotics offenses.

The citizen with the initials DB, who worked as an administrative officer at ARCK, has been arrested under charges of: "Misuse of official position or authority" and "Forgery of official document", according to KPRK.

"The aforementioned is suspected that on 15.10.2021, in Pristina, respectively at the offices of the Civil Registration Agency (ARC), in the capacity of an administrative officer at this Agency, responsible for the application and distribution of personal documents (letter of notification, driver's license and passport) , with the aim of obtaining financial benefit for himself or for another, knowingly and knowingly misused his legal authorizations, acting contrary to the legislation on personal documents, in such a way that the person with the initials MD, a citizen of the Republic of Albania, declared internationally wanted by Interpol for criminal narcotics offenses, brought him illegal benefits by helping him to complete, accept and validate the personal documentation in the name and with the data of the injured party AN, thus enabling the person MD ,to issue the identity card and the passport of the Republic of Kosovo with the data of the injured AN", says the communique of the Basic Prosecutor's Office of Pristina./ CNA
