Germany will buy US-made fighter jets

Germany has given the green light to the purchase of dozens of American-made F-35 fighter jets. These purchases will be part of the rebuilding of the military, a process that has been prompted by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The budget committee of the German Parliament approved eight projects with a total value of 13 billion euros, including the purchase of F-35 fighter jets, which is expected to cost 10 billion euros.
