60 years of the Élysée Agreement/ The cornerstone of German-French

18 years after the end of World War II, the two former sworn enemies pledged through the Élysée Agreement friendship and comprehensive political cooperation.

On the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Élysée Agreement, a celebratory act and a joint working session of the parliaments of both countries, the German Bundestag and the National Assembly (Assemblée nationale) of France, take place.

Marrëveshja e Élysée-së duhej të hynte si guri i themelit në historinë e marrëdhënieve gjermano-franceze: Pothuajse 18 vjet pas fundit të Luftës së Dytë Botërore të dy vendet ish-armiq të betuar u zotuan për miqësinë dhe bashkëpunimin gjithpërfshirës politik. Kësisoj kjo marrëveshje vulosi partneritetin midis dy vendeve, që kishin luftuar në rrjedhën e shekujve mes njeri-tjetrit.

Me rastin e jubileut të 60 vjetorit të nënshkrimit të Marrëveshjes së Élysée-së të dielën më 22 janar 2023 krerët e të dy shteteve do të takohen në Paris. Në zemrën e kryeqytetit francez do të mblidhen deputetët e të dy parlamenteve fillimisht në një festivitet solemn në Universitetin Sorbonne.
