The Mayor of Vlora, Brunilda Mersini, has made a statement regarding the water problem in the coastal city.

Mersin has stated that today there will be a routine test where some parts of the city will begin to be supplied with water.

The mayor announced that the damaged part has been found and is on its way to Rinas Airport.

 

" I think it is not the time to share responsibilities. The water supply is not under the municipality's control, but it is the time to manage this disaster. The good news is that today the test has resulted positive in the last test and a part of the city, namely the Lungomare, with minimal pressure to not increase the risk level until we make the final solution.

The pumps in this gradual testing will begin to supply specific parts of the city. But I emphasize that over 15 water tanks have been operating in the city for 3 days, but we have given priority to institutions. The protest is organized by the opposition and by the opposition members of the Municipal Council. This is not the time to oppose a natural disaster. This is an analysis that belongs to the water supply company. The good news is that the part has been found and is arriving at Rinas airport , "said Brunilda Mersini.
