Hundreds of believers have been waiting at the border with flowers in their hands to bid farewell to Archbishop Anastasios.
The body of the archbishop will arrive in Tirana today at around 16:00, where homages will be held for a two-day period.
The cortege will be accompanied by the Metropolitan of Apollonia and Fier, the Bishop of Kruja, Anastas Mamaj, and the priests Harallamb Gjoka and Spiridon Topanxha, who were his close collaborators and friends in the revival of the Church of Albania.
