One of Erion Veliaj's plans seems to have been to be included in the list of candidates for MP on May 11. "They sacrificed one of the students for MP, as if they were sick or not feeling well due to their health condition, and to introduce Erion as a candidate for MP, so that he could escape prison," says part of the testimony.

According to the prison guard's statements, Veliaj has mentioned several other mayors such as: Tërmet Peçi, or one with the surname Malaj, who are becoming MPs to escape SPAK.

But in the May 11 elections, he was not included in the list of candidates for Tirana, and his later efforts in the Supreme Court were defeated, leaving him in prison.
