The Minister of Finance and Economy, Delina Ibrahimaj, has stated that the value of the buildings without permission which have been confiscated will be calculated according to the market price and not according to the construction cost. 

In an interview for "Euronews Albania", she stated that a figure has been set for the price of these assets, while emphasizing that the process of evaluating the assets that will be subject to confiscation has already begun.

"We are in the process of evaluating the assets that will be subject to confiscation. The return will not be based on cost but on market value. So we still do not have an estimate of the market price of the buildings that will be confiscated. There is no forecast and we have no information about the unauthorized constructions", said Ibrahimaj.

A little earlier, Ibrahimaj spoke about inflation in the country, where he explained that inflation was influenced by imports. While presenting the concrete figures, the minister said that in the first 8 months of this year, inflation was at the level of 6.1%, a lower figure compared to the countries of the region./ CNA.al
