The Prosecutor of the Durrës Prosecutor's Office, Edmond Koloshi, faces the Independent Qualification Commission this Monday.

His vetting process is being carried out by the team consisting of Olsi Komici, Valbona Sanxhaktari and Firdes Shuli.

Edmond Koloshi started his career in the justice system in 2003 and worked as a prosecutor in the Lezha Prosecutor's Office until 2007. Since then, he has been working in the Durrës District Prosecutor's Office.

He owns family real estate worth 19.5 million alleks, vehicle worth 820 thousand alleks, bank liquidity of 287 thousand alleks and cash savings of 5 thousand alleks.

The family income for the reporting period is 37.2 million ALL, of which 55% comes from the subject's salary from the position, 25% from the wife's salary and 19% from rental income.

In addition to the analysis of the increase/decrease in wealth, the structure of assets and income, this report also presents the arithmetic/logical control of the subject's declarations as well as the "red flags" that are identified during the control. From the arithmetic/logical check for 16 years of declaration, none of the declarations resulted in problems.

From the qualitative analysis of the property, BIRN identified as a "red flag" the borrowing for the purchase of an apartment as well as the payments for its repayment.

In 2009, subject Edmond Koloshi declares an additional residential apartment worth 80,000 euros, while at the time of purchase he paid 52,000 euros with the main source of financing being 6,200,000 lek bank loans and 10,000 euros borrowing.
