Another case of violence was recorded in Maliq, namely in the village of Pendavinj.

The citizen with the initials MK, 42 years old, has used violence for weak motives against his wife and father.

The police intervened to stop the escalation of the situation and arrested the 42-year-old.

Both the wife and the father have been granted a protection order.

"A 42-year-old man is arrested in the act, after he committed violence against his wife and father, as well as damaged the vehicle and household furniture with hard objects. 

The services of the Malik Police Station, immediately after the notification of a case of domestic violence, immediately went to the given address. As a result of the quick actions of the police services, the citizen MK, 42 years old, resident in the village of Pendavinj, Maliq, was caught and handcuffed.

From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the MK citizen has repeatedly used violence for weak motives, against his wife and father, who were provided with a protection order. Also, it is suspected that the MK citizen has damaged his household furniture and vehicle with hard objects. 

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Korçë, for further actions," the police announced. / CNA
