Flooding and road blockages/ Ministry of Defense shows problem areas

The Ministry of Defense has reacted to the situation in the country, after the floods and road blockages caused by heavy rains.

The Ministry of Defense indicates that there are problems with the roads in the Skuraj-Burrel axis, in the village of Shkopet and in the administrative unit of Milot.

Even in Durrës there is water in the area around the stadium, the beach, in Plepa and at the "Ura e Dajlani", while in Mirdita there is flooding in the courtyards of the houses after the Zmeja stream came out of its bed.

The Ministry declares that it is working to improve the situation, as well as to repair defects in the energy system.

"The return of intense rainfall in a large part of the country's territory has created several problems.

The forces are working on the Skuraj-Burrel road axis, where there is a massive fall of stones and road blockage, in the village of Shkopet as well as in the Milot administrative unit, in Kurbin. There is water in the yards of some apartments in Mirdita, due to the exit of the Zmeja stream from its bed.

The situation is being monitored in Durrës, where there is water on some roads, making it difficult for vehicles to move, mainly in the area around the stadium, the beach, Plepa, at the "Dajlani Bridge".

Work is also underway to repair defects in the energy system in some areas in Kukës, Tropoja, Shkodër.
