Protests have started in front of the Ministry of the Interior, called by the Civil Society under the motto: "It was not the boat that killed him, but the state".

Many citizens have gathered in front of the ministry, who demand justice for little Jonada and more security for their children.

This protest comes after the tragedy that happened on the beach of Potami in Himare, where the 7-year-old girl Jonada Avdia was killed in an accident by a boat that was driven by commissioner Arjan Tase.

Civil society has called for the resignation of the Minister of the Interior Bledi Çuçi, the Director General of the State Police Gladis Nano and the Minister of Tourism, Mirela Kumbaro, making them responsible for the tragic event.

Meanwhile, we remember that throughout these days, tributes have been held, with candles and flowers, in the place where the little girl lost her life, as well as in front of the Prime Minister's Office. /CNA.al
