Measures against Balluk/ SPAK Prosecutor: Does not hinder the functioning of the Council of Ministers

SPAK prosecutor Dorina Bejko was present at today's session at the Constitutional Court regarding the suspension of Belinda Balluku from duty.

Bejko said that the measure requested by SPAK does not hinder the functioning of the Council of Ministers. Further, Bejko said that SPAK sees the suspension from duty as related to Balluk's function and competencies as a minister.

Regarding the measures requested by SPAK, Bejko stated that they were requested in relation to the circumstances.

" The measure we have requested from the ministry does not impede the functioning of the Council of Ministers."

We see the suspension from office with the function and powers as a minister.

"SPAK requested coercive and preventive measures in relation to the circumstances. We concluded that if he continued to exercise his duties, there was a potential risk of poisoning the evidence ," said the prosecutor.
