Prime Minister Edi Rama has published tourism figures and the preferred destinations of foreign visitors to Albania.
Rama announced that tourism has increased by 42% compared to last year.
Also, he has discovered the most visited destinations, starting with Gjirokastra Castle, continuing with Kruja Museum, Shkodra Archaeological Park, Butrinti and ending with Apollonia.
"An increase of 42% compared to the same period last year, where 23% of visitors are foreign tourists.
Top 5 favorite destinations of visitors are:
Gjirokaster Castle – 120,723 visitors
Museum "Gjergj Kastrioti", Krujë - 90,955 visitors
Shkodër Archaeological Park – 85,806 visitors
Butrint Archaeological Park – 84,742 visitors
