Korça electrifying atmosphere/ The fourth night of the Beer Festival

Korça continues to be the center of celebration and tourism in Albania.

The fourth night of the Beer Festival has brought another boom in visitors and an electrifying atmosphere that has lasted until the early hours of the morning.

On the magnificent stage, renowned artists such as Vesa Luma, Alban Skënderaj, and Greek singer Triantafillos thrilled the audience with their performances.

Songs, live music, and energy kept one of the most beautiful nights of the largest summer festival in the country alive.

The square near the Terminal was filled with thousands of visitors and tourists, who, together with the people of Korça, transformed the celebration into an arena of joy and unity.

Participants, through the CNA microphone, spare no words to describe their experiences.

A lady from Tirana, who lives in the USA, said she is happy that for the first time she is enjoying the unique atmosphere of this holiday, also trying traditional dishes such as kërnakkat and shishkebap.

"It's my first time coming to the Beer Festival. I'm from Tirana but I live in America and I'm very happy to be here tonight. The atmosphere is very nice and I'm very happy to be enjoying this moment. We tried the kërnakkat which are really delicious, shishkebap and the pies. We will definitely stay to enjoy it tomorrow too ," said the participant.

Two young Albanians living in Thessaloniki and Sweden praised this edition as the most beautiful so far, while one confessed that they gathered with their friends especially for the celebration.

" We come from Greece, from Thessaloniki. It's the second time we're coming, it's very beautiful. Bravo Korça. This year it's better. We just arrived, we've been here for about an hour and we'll see how the night goes. We'll just stay tonight. I'll celebrate with my friends, we've all gathered together, for the holidays and to have the best time possible ," said the young man.

" We came from Sweden, it's my first time. It's very nice. Bravo. I came with my friends, some of whom live abroad, in Greece, some in Albania, from all over the world. We gathered just for the party ," the young man from Sweden told CNA.

The annual tradition has now become a magnet for southern Albanians as well, as a visitor from Tepelena puts it.

" We come every year, we are from Tepelena. We are very satisfied. Bravo Korça. The beer, the party, the participation, I liked everything. I will stay the next day, today I am celebrating with my family, " said the visitor.

A tourist from Calabria, Italy, said he was impressed by the festival and would return again.

According to him, at the Beer Festival, people find what they want.

" I come from Calabria, it's my first time here. It's a beautiful, very exciting festival, a festival where people find what they want. I've tried the beers, I've tried the kërnace, all these traditional dishes of Korça. Of course, I'll come on the last night too ," said the tourist from Calabria.

The fourth night marked another success in the five-day Beer Festival calendar.

Today, the closing of the biggest summer event in Albania is expected to bring an even bigger spectacle with well-known names in Albanian music, Aurel Thëllimi, Anxhela Peristeri, NRG Band and Fifi.

Korça, for four nights in a row, has become not only the capital of beer, but also a center where tourism, culture and music meet in a celebration that grows and becomes bigger every year./ CNA
