"Balluku" case/ The "Constitutional" meeting concludes, the decision is awaited
The Constitutional Court meeting to review Prime Minister ...

The Constitutional Court has decided to review the government's appeal against the Special Court's decision on the suspension of Belinda Balluku. According to reports, the judges voted 5 in favor and 3 against reviewing the government's appeal. The case will go to a review session, where it is expected to decide whether her suspension will remain in force or be canceled.
The government had appealed the decision of the Constitutional Court that imposed the measure of suspension from duty and a ban on leaving the country for the former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure.
In his statements, the head of government, Edi Rama, described Balluk's suspension as an interference in the competence of the prime minister, while stating that the decision of the GJKKO has suspended the work of an entire ministry.
Earlier, the Constitutional Court session was postponed due to the complexity of the case, the volume of accompanying materials, the Court's agenda, and based on the request of some of its members. /CNA
