The 21st edition of Rally Albania/ For 7 days of adrenaline, the biggest racing

The 21st edition of Rally Albania, the largest motor racing event in the country and one of the most famous in the Balkans, has started in Shkodra.

For seven consecutive days, pilots from different countries around the world will traverse the most difficult terrains and most beautiful panoramas that Albania offers, in a challenge that combines adrenaline with adventure.

With dozens of vehicles and specialized motorcycles for off-road racing, Rally Albania this year has chosen Shkodra as the symbolic starting point of this challenging journey, promoting not only extreme sports, but also tourism in Shkodra. The pilots were welcomed at the start of the event by the Deputy Mayor of Shkodra Municipality, Teuta Qyteza, who praised this event, but also the hospitality they find in Shkodra.

"Welcome to Shkodra, we are in front of the municipality on whose behalf I greet you and wish you a race with strong adrenaline, so that you remember these emotions for a long time. And wherever you go, take them with you and remember Shkodra. During your walk, our natural views, the selected cuisine with the desire that you too be promoters of our tourism. Wherever you go, you will remember our views and wonderful Albania. I wish that everything goes well and that you tell everyone about our Albania. Good places that we have for summer, mountain tourism, where you will step on your own vehicles. This is the 21st Edition and I hope it never stops", - said the City.

Participants will pass through cities, mountains and remote areas of the country, before concluding the race in Tirana. Organizers emphasize that this edition will have more stages, more kilometers and a significant increase in participants from abroad.

"Welcome to Albania and especially to Shkodra, we are in the country that we love very much. We are in a week of adventure with Rally Albania. The 21st edition. I greet you who are here for the umpteenth time, but also those who are here for the first time. I have a special greeting for the competing girls who are 3 in total. We must say that they are on motorcycles and this is more adventurous. I want to wish everyone success and to enjoy the 7 days of the race, to close it successfully and without problems", said Julia Dhame from Rally Albania.
