Today, Albania celebrates the 111th anniversary of independence. On November 28, 1912, Ismail Qemali raised the flag in Vlora and declared Albania a sovereign and independent state.
On this day marked for the entire Albanian nation, Prime Minister Edi Rama congratulated all Albanians around the world.
In a status on social networks, Rama writes:
" GOOD MORNING Albania, happy 111th anniversary of the Independence Flag".
