Scandalous statement/ Head of Oncology: Cancer patients, able to work

The Oncology scandal, which came to light at the end of June, continues to shock Albanian citizens.

From the Prime Minister of the country, Edi Rama, the Minister of Health, Albana Koçiu, the doctors involved in the scandal, to other officials in the institutions have tried to change the course of the event, blaming one factor - the other.

Recently, the head of the Oncology service at the Mother Teresa University Hospital, Silvana Çeliku, in the Health and Social Affairs Commission, has issued some shocking statements.

First, Çelik admits that there has been and will be a shortage of medicines, while he has treated cancer patients as capable of working, who do not need a camp. According to Ms. Çeliku, you must be on the verge of death for the state to support you economically. 

"We are the only country in the world that does not have waiting lines, 2-3 weeks is not called a line! Are there shortages? Yes, there is, and we will not hide this...

KEMPI problem I have my option... getting cancer does not mean you are unfit for work. Asss... when you're dying here, then you change," said Celiku.
