For the umpteenth time, the US Embassy is strongly emphasizing support for justice institutions.

In the framework of the 8th anniversary of the adoption of the constitutional amendments that paved the way for the reform in justice, the US Embassy has underlined that it will continue to stand by the institutions of justice.

It is emphasized that justice institutions have progressed in the fight against corruption.

"On this eighth anniversary of the unanimous approval of the constitutional amendments that paved the way for the justice reform, we congratulate the Albanian people for their support in its irreversible implementation.

As we have said all along, the justice reform would not be easy, quick or perfect, but it is giving results and making Albania a stronger democracy.

We are proud to have stood with the people of Albania in this difficult and courageous effort. We will continue to stand by the institutions of justice and the citizens of Albania, as they continue to make progress in the fight against corruption and bringing Albania closer to the Euro-Atlantic community of nations", reads the reaction of the US Embassy./ CNA
