The future of two Skënderbeu strikers is decided

Skënderbeu Club has been in the preparatory phase for the new football season for several days now, under the direction of Julian Ahmataj. In parallel with the training sessions, attention in Korça has been focused on team building and summer transfer moves.

During this period, one of the issues that remained pending was the absence of Egyptian striker Saleh Nasr in the first training sessions of the red-white group, which had sparked discussions about his future.

The player's delay in lining up under the coach's orders was not related to any contractual or financial disputes between the parties, but was the result of lengthy bureaucratic procedures to obtain his visa. The documentation procedures have now been successfully completed and the player has secured the necessary permission to travel to Albania.

According to the planned program, Saleh Nasr is expected to arrive in Korça within a few days to immediately join the rest of the players. After completing the necessary physical tests, he will start differentiated training to catch up with the rhythm of the group that started work earlier. His rapid integration is highly appreciated by the technical staff, as the player is seen as an important element to guarantee stability in the midfield department for the new season.

The situation of another striker has also been clarified. It concerns the attacking winger, Tajon, who previously had a short six-month adventure with the southeastern club before being loaned to Kukësi. After ending his loan period in the northeastern ranks, the striker attempted to wear the red-and-white jersey again for the new season.

However, the technical staff and club leaders have given a negative response, not counting him in the new technical project.

With this issue resolved, Skënderbeu's management is focusing on the next steps in the transfer market, where other opportunities are being explored to bring players to positions that are considered open. The preparatory phase will continue with full intensity in the coming days, where the first friendly matches are also expected to be scheduled.
