Tites' successor, Brazil in contact with Carlo Ancelotti for the bench

Brazil's quarterfinal loss to Croatia on penalties has caused a small sports earthquake in the country. After Tite announced that he will not continue at the head of the "seleçao", speculations about his successor are continuous.

Brazilian media UOL has announced that coach Carlo Ancelotti is the main candidate.

UOL reports that the Brazilian Football Confederation first consulted Ancelotti about his availability to accept the position last October and that the proposal said Brazil could host the Italian until June 2023.

But Ancelotti has a contract with Real Madrid until 2024 and he has often stated that after this second phase at Real Madrid it is very likely that he will retire from the bench.
