The USA has posted a post on the official page on "Instagram", in which they have shown the flag of Iran without the Islamic symbols. Such an action has not been well received by the Iranian Federation, which according to local media has made a request to FIFA to exclude the USA from the World Cup.


"In an unprofessional act, the official Instagram page of the US Soccer Federation has removed a portion written in Arabic from the Iranian flag. The Iranian Football Federation has sent an e-mail to FIFA, asking it to impose a serious punishment on the American side", informs "IRNA".

Meanwhile, the American side defended itself with the argument that such an action was done to show support for Iranian women, who are demanding their basic rights. Such a breach of FIFA rules can result in a penalty of up to 10 match suspension.
