Merkato/ A talent from Spain for Tirana, Teuta finds a striker in Portugal

Tirana and Teuta have made important reinforcements to their squads official.

The Blue and Whites have reached an agreement with Spanish left-back Hugo Fresneda, who comes after a long experience in Mallorca's renowned academy.

The 18-year-old's performances with the U-19 team had caught the eye of the Iberian media, as well as sparking the interest of several clubs from the Spanish football elite.

Although he had a contractual relationship with his former club until 2027, the young talent chose to join the capital. On the other hand, Tirana's leaders are working in parallel to finalize other approaches in the coming days.

Meanwhile, Teuta has strengthened the advanced department by signing Portuguese striker Pedro Martelo, who recently played with Oliveirense in his country's second division.

The 26-year-old midfielder has a rich background with Portugal's youth national teams, with his greatest achievement being being declared European U-19 champion in 2018.
