"My players rigged matches", Rudi Vata makes a strong statement: I

The former footballer of the Albanian National Team, Rudi Vata, has made a strong statement regarding the period when he was a coach.

In an interview for Euronews Albania, Vata said that his players have rigged matches.

According to him, they made tricks, in certain matches, at the moments when the trick was of interest to those persons who controlled this phenomenon.

"A rigged match is a rigged match. While in Albania, Albanian football has been condemned for corruption, here there is a lot of space to discuss the phenomenon. In the teams where I worked as a secreter, I had players who were part of the rigging of matches.

Jo çdo javore, por sigurisht në momente të veçanta kur u interesonte personave të veçantë që kontrollonin fenomenin dhe ishin palë me shtetin. Unë e kam pësuar në kurriz”, theksoi ai.

Ish-futbollisti i Kombëtares shqiptare, Rudi Vata thotë se deputetë, po edhe ministra në vendin tonë, vendosin baste dhe luajnë në kazino.

Vata u shpreh se bastet janë katastrofike për vendin tonë dhe shtoi se të vetmit që kanë pasur fitim nga ky aktivitet, janë ata që i kanë kontrolluar.

“Në Shqipëri është katastrofë që të futesh në baste. Njerëzit në Shqipëri, që janë marrë me baste, janë disa njerëz që kanë konrolluar baste, kanë fitime. Një pjesë e tyre është edhe elitë shtetërore. Mund të ketë deputetë, mund të ketë ministra.
