Louis Van Gaal has made public the list of 26 players who will represent the Netherlands in Qatar 2022. The "General" has left out of the World Cup names such as Ryan Gravenberch (Bayern Munchen) or Sven Botman (Newcastle), Brian Brobbey (Ajax), Guus Til ( PSV) and Jasper Cillessen (NEC), who can start the holidays.

Van Gaal has invited Xavi Simons, who is playing a very good season with PSV. The 19-year-old (10 goals and 4 assists) has never worn the jersey of the first team before, an opportunity he will have in the World Cup. Jermemie Frimpong also celebrates.

The 21-year-old plays as a right winger and in the summer of last year he was transferred from Celtic to Bayer Leverkusen. The positive performances with "Aspirinat" have convinced Van Gaal to give him a ticket to the World Cup.

The Netherlands is part of group A. Qatar, Senegal and Ecuador are the opponents of the tulip national team, which will play its first match in the World Cup against Sadio Mane's Senegal (November 21).
