"Football Legend", President Duka presents the title to the famous

Artur Lekbello, one of the most prominent names in Albanian football, has been honored with the title of “Football Legend.” Due to health problems, the former defender was unable to receive the title in Albania.

To honor and respect his contribution, the President of the Albanian Football Association, Armand Duka, the Vice President of the Albanian Football Association, Lutfi Nuri, the Secretary General of the Albanian Football Association, Ilir Shulku, and other Albanian Football Association officials traveled to Thessaloniki, where they met with Lekbello to officially present him with the title "Legend of Football".

At the ceremony held on this occasion and in a very friendly atmosphere, attended by family and friends of the former footballer, President Duka expressed his gratitude to Artur Lekbello for his extraordinary career and the mark he has left in Albanian football.

Artur Lekbello was one of the most prominent defenders of Albanian football in the 80'-90'. He played 30 matches with the national team. At the club level, Artur Lekbello played for the team of 17 November and Aris Thessaloniki.
