"Homosexuality is haram", the interview is interrupted after the sensational statement of a Qatari ambassador

On the eve of the start of the biggest sporting event, an ambassador of the World Cup in Qatar, Khalid Salman, gave an interview to the German television ZDF. 

He stated that homosexuality is haram and they must accept their rules. Immediately after this statement, the interview was interrupted.

"They have to accept our rules here. Homosexuality is haram. Do you know what haram (forbidden) means?” he said in part of the interview.

When asked why it was haram, Salman said: “I am not a strict Muslim, but why is it haram? Because it is harm in the mind."
