Age is just a number and the case of César Canedas is the best representation of the famous popular saying. At the age of 44, the player from Vitoria continues to play football with SD Logroñés and enjoy moments as emotional as the one he experienced yesterday in his team's last pre-season game.

He faced Alavés B, an offshoot of the second-tier side in which his son, Aritz Caneda, plays. The match, which ended in a 1-1 draw, had the most special moment when father and son, respectively 44 and 19 years old, met on the field.

The duel between parent and son, at the moment, can only be repeated in friendly matches. The difference in category between the two teams is the reason for this. This campaign SD Logroñés faces a new course in the First RFEF, while the Alavés B affiliate competes in a lower division, the Second RFEF.
