Donnarumma, the goalkeeper's future unclear

Gianluigi Donnarumma's future at PSG remains unclear, despite the shared desire for renewal.

The Italian goalkeeper has a contract until 2026, but negotiations over an extension have not yet led to an agreement. The French club have offered a new contract with the same salary, but with a performance-related component.

Donnarumma is not happy with this formula, seeing his status as one of the best goalkeepers in the world. PSG do not want to lose him with zero parameters, after the Mbappé case.

If an agreement for renewal is not reached, Chelsea could intervene, seeking an alternative to Robert Sanchez.

Inter have also been mentioned before, but the move seems financially unaffordable. The matter is expected to take a turn after August 4, when Donnarumma returns from vacation.
