Business continues, CR7 with investments in Madeira

The Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, will once again join the "Pestana" group, with which he already owns a joint chain of hotels, to start the construction of a complex consisting of 88 apartments in his hometown, the Portuguese island of Madeira.

The project will be an investment of 50 million euros and will be located on the land owned by the footballer in "Playa Formosa", in Funchal. The news was given by the president of the hotel group, Dionisio Pestana, in an interview for the Portuguese newspaper "Jornal de Negócios".

Ronaldo and the Pestana group currently have five hotels under their joint brand, located in Lisbon, Madeira, Madrid, New York and Marrakesh. The "Pestana CR7" brand plans to open two more hotels in Paris and Manchester. At the age of 37, Ronaldo is a phenomenon with global reach both on and off the pitch. "It is the most recognized Portuguese brand in the world," said Daniel Sa, executive director of the Portuguese Institute of Administration and Marketing.
