The epidemiologist, Ilir Alimehmeti, says how the downward curve of Covid infections has started, thus signaling the decline of this wave of infections.

In a post on social networks, he emphasizes that the peak results on July 21, and that after that date the decline began.

"My friends, the signal of the beginning of the decline of the cases that we discussed about a week ago was thankfully confirmed during this week.

We noticed that on July 22, the number of active cases dropped for the first time since the day before, July 21.

From the official cases, we note that the decline started exactly on July 22, after the peak that resulted on July 21.

The number of hospitalized patients is expected to decrease throughout August!
