Twitter scored its first victory over billionaire Elon Musk on Tuesday. We recall that "Twitter" requested that Musk be tried on a date as close as possible. And it was the Delaware Court that decided that Twitter's lawsuit against Elon Musk over their $44 billion acquisition deal should go to a five-day trial next fall, in October.

The decision comes after Twitter demanded that Musk fulfill the purchase agreement as originally agreed, and any delay in the lawsuit threatens the risk of irreparable harm.

While Twitter was pushing for a trial date as soon as possible, Musk wanted the date pushed back to February 2023.
