Opposition protest/ Police arrest 2 more protesters

Police Notification:

The Local Directorate of the Tirana Police, following the investigative and procedural actions carried out at the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, in relation to the violent acts carried out during the protest held on 07.10.2024, stopped the citizens:

- SB, 49 years old, resident of Kruja, for the criminal offenses "Assaults due to duty", "Breach of the rules on explosives and incendiary substances" and "Removal of the prisoner from the place of stay", provided by articles 237, 282 and 323 of the Criminal Code;

- GT, 47 years old, resident in Tirana, for the criminal offenses "Assaults due to duty" and "Destruction of property", provided by articles 237 and 150 of the Criminal Code.

In addition, proceedings were initiated in a free state for the citizens HB, 68 years old, IT, 49 years old, KK, 43 years old, MT, 24 years old, and a 17-year-old minor citizen, for the criminal offenses "Disturbance of public order and peace" and "Opposition of the public order Police officer", provided by articles 274 and 236 of the Criminal Code.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office.
