Anti-drug operation in Shkodër, thousands of cannabis roots are destroyed

The Shkodër Police announced that during the "Clean Territory" action, 1,848 cannabis plants were destroyed.

Police notification:

Shkodër District/Following the anti-cannabis police mega-operation "Clean Territory", 1848 cannabis plants are destroyed.

In the framework of this mega-operation, which aims to prevent, ascertain and attack the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants, the services of the Local Police Directorate of Shkodër and the commissariats depending on it, have intensively followed the controls in the entire territory of the district. During this phase of the mega operation:

- the services of the Shkodër Police Commissariat found in the territory of the administrative units Pult, Shalë and Postribë, and destroyed 1405 cannabis plants;

- the services of the Vau i Deja Police Station found in the territory of the Shllak administrative unit and destroyed 443 cannabis plants.

The work continues for the identification, capture and prosecution of the perpetrators of the cultivation of these narcotic plants. Checks follow./CNA
