The Shkodra court has sentenced Davide Pecorelli, the Italian entrepreneur who staged his death in Albania in January 2021, to 4 years in prison.

In October 2022, the Prosecutor's Office of Puka closed the investigations and accused Pekolli of 5 criminal offences, for committing the criminal offense of "Deception" in collaboration, "Violation of graves", "Actions that prevent the discovery of the truth" and "Destruction of property with fire".

For Pecorelli, the Prosecution asked for eight years in prison, but the Court sentenced him to only 4 years./ CNA
