The Supreme Court dismissed the appeal of the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka, who is in prison after the "Metamorfoza" operation of SPAK.

Gjoka's appeal opposed the decision of the Special Appeal for the security measure "arrest in prison".

Gjoka was arrested thanks to the information that the Special Prosecutor's Office received from European agencies, which were able to decipher the communications through coded phones used mainly by characters from the world of crime, among which there are quite a few names of Albanians.

The group of persons arrested in July is suspected of a large number of criminal offences, from "Premeditated murder", "Passive corruption of judges, prosecutors and other officials of justice bodies", "Active corruption of judges, prosecutors and other justice officials", "Illegal deprivation of liberty", "Abuse of duty", "False expertise", "Forgery of documents", or "Trafficking in narcotics", "Illegal possession of weapons and production of weapons", in cooperation in the form of "Structured criminal group", "Commitment of criminal offenses by criminal organization and structured criminal group", "Cleaning of products of criminal offense or criminal activity"./  CNA
