Convicted of prostitution, the 34-year-old woman is arrested

In implementation of the measures defined within the operational plan "Rule of Law", the coded police operation "Location" was finalized.

A 34-year-old woman, sentenced to 1 year and 4 months in prison, was arrested and detained for practicing and exploiting prostitution.

The services of the Section for the Investigation of Illegal Traffic in Tirana DVP in cooperation with the Pogradec Police Station, in implementation of the measures drawn up within the police mega-operation coded "Rule of Law", based on the information provided about the location of a citizen in research, have intensified the controls to capture and bring her before the legal responsibility. 

As a result, citizen A. Xh., 33 years old, resident in Tirana, who was declared wanted after the Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction Tirana, sentenced her to 1 year and 4 months of imprisonment for criminal offenses, was arrested and detained. "Prostitution" and "Exploitation of Prostitution".

The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
