The Prosecutor's Office of Fier has seized the assets of the citizen EB, previously convicted for criminal offenses in the field of narcotics.

In 2024, this prosecutor's office registered a property proceeding due to the suspicion that the EB citizen or persons related to him own or possess assets derived from criminal activity.

In function of the property proceedings, the prosecution body has carried out a complete verification of the economic and legal actions of the EB citizen and/or persons related to him, in order to identify the assets that these persons own/possess, as well as whether these persons have having legal resources for the creation of assets.

After carrying out their accounting verifications and expertise, it was found that they do not have legal sources for the creation of wealth in their possession. These assets are suspected to have been created as a result of illegal activity since the EB citizen was convicted by the Court of Appeal for Serious Crimes in Tirana, for the criminal offense of "Drug Trafficking" provided by Article 283/a/2 of the Criminal Code . Also, from the data administered during the investigation, citizen EB is currently under arrest by the Austrian authorities, as a suspect for involvement in illegal activities related to drug trafficking.

Therefore, based on the law no. 10192, dated 03.12.2009 "On the prevention and combating of organized crime, trafficking, corruption and other crimes through preventive measures against property", as amended, the Court is requested to take a preventive measure of a property nature, which consists in the seizure of real estate: 

- Property of the "apartment" type, with an area of ??138.3 m2; AND

- Property of the "apartment" type, with an area of ??50 m2./ CNA
