The court of Korça imprisoned 45-year-old Bledar Trêndafili, who a month ago burned his ex-wife, Melisa Trêndafili, with gasoline.

Trëndafili was recognized today with the "prison arrest" security measure, set in absentia by the Korça court after the serious incident.

The prosecution requested that the 45-year-old be left in prison until the end of the investigation, a request that was accepted by the court.

We remind you that Bledar Trêndafili was captured on October 3, after 1 month of searches.

The perpetrator and the victim had been living apart from each other for 4 months, even though they had not filed for divorce.

Bledar Trëndafili did not accept the separation from his wife and on the day of the incident they had a meeting to clarify, but it ended with setting fire to his wife./ CNA
