Serious accident in the village of Dardha. According to preliminary information, it is learned that a jeep type vehicle has left the road.

It is suspected that there were 2 people in the vehicle, a man and a woman, who were injured.

The woman is suspected to be in a more serious state of health. The ambulance and the police at the scene of the incident took out the injured persons and transported them to the Korca hospital.

"On 23.05.2024, around 13:35, on the road axis "Korçë-Dardë", near the ski slope, citizen Xh. K., while driving his vehicle, allegedly lost control over his driving and the vehicle has gone off the road.

As a result, the EK citizen, a passenger in the vehicle, was injured and was sent for treatment to the hospital in Korça.

The investigative group is carrying out further procedural actions and is working to determine the causes of the accident," the police statement said./ CNA
