As a result of the maximum commitment, as a reliable partner, in an international operation for the release of 11 citizens (illegal immigrants, from third countries) who were held hostage in Montenegro, the Traffic Investigation Sector in the Directorate for Narcotics Investigation in the Department of the Criminal Police in DPPSH, through receiving information and exchanging it in real time, it became possible to organize the coded international operation "Kidnapping".

The Albanian Police has provided information on the location of these citizens and on other elements that led to the identification of the perpetrators.

Information was exchanged through Europol, with Montenegrin partners, who engaged their police and military services, combed the area and enabled the location and capture in Montenegro of 2 of the perpetrators of the case, illegal immigrants from Afghanistan.

From the investigations, it is suspected that these and two other citizens are involved in other cases of hostage taking in the same area.

In addition, 11 hostage hostages were found, who had been raped by Afghan citizens./ CNA
