Tragedy with 66 victims in Turkey/ Erdogan declares "National Mourning" Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared national mourning after the tragedy that occurred at the ski resort, where 66 people lost their lives and 51 others were injured in the flames.

After convening the Council of Ministers in Ankara, Erdogan stressed that he has launched a judicial and administrative investigation into the causes of the fire.

"In the first phase, four people were arrested, including the owner of the business where the tragedy occurred.

"I say it clearly and unequivocally once and for all: Those who caused such a disaster, those who showed negligence and guilt, will be held accountable before the law," Erdogan said. /CNA
