Withdrawal of barricades in the north of Kosovo/ KFOR: To avoid further escalations

After the withdrawal of the barricades in the north of Kosovo, there have been numerous reactions from the international community.

Through a post on Twitter, KFOR stated that the removal of the barricades should be done safely, avoiding incidents.  

"KFOR welcomes the decision to remove the barricades in the north of Kosovo. The removal of the barricades must be done quickly, in a safe and secure manner, avoiding any kind of incident or danger.

All parties should avoid any rhetoric or actions that could cause further escalation. #KFOR is closely monitoring developments. We remain extremely vigilant and ready to intervene, if necessary, in accordance with our mandate based on #RKSKB 1244 of 1999," wrote on Twiterr./ CNA.al
