The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vu?i?, today informed the public opinion in Serbia regarding the request made by the big EU countries, France and Germany, towards Serbia, so that the latter enters the EU as soon as possible.

Vucic said that Germany and France's proposal for Kosovo is permanent and that they cannot "throw out of the window a proposal that comes from two big countries".

"Can we agree, I'm not sure, I'll say what our red lines are," he said, adding that it will be done on two tracks.

He said that Serbia's biggest mistake was that it accepted that the EU manages the process of solving the Kosovo issues.

"The bottom line is that if Serbia allows Kosovo to join all international institutions and organizations, including the UN, Serbia will have quick entry into the EU and possibly significant economic benefits. What is the position of Serbia: I said that we should talk", Vucic said.

Vucic added that for Serbia and because of the Constitution, it is unacceptable for Kosovo to be a member of the UN and will bear its consequences./Euronews
