Horror in Germany / A severed head is thrown in front of the Bonn court, suspicions

German police say they have arrested a suspect after he was accused of leaving a human head in front of the district court in Bonn.

The 38-year-old suspect is from the Bonn area, police said.

It is learned that the victim is a 44-year-old, but the identity is not yet certain. Shortly after being notified of the beheading, police found a body, but also drew a parallel between the Bonn incident and the unsolved murder of homeless Gerd Michael Straten, formerly in Koblenz.

The media reports that his severed body was discovered in the main cemetery in Koblenz in 2018.

Meanwhile, the severed head, which was placed at the entrance of the Bonn district court on Tuesday evening, will be examined by the forensic department.

A police spokesman announced that the same applies to the rest of the body, which investigators found a kilometer away on Tuesday./ CNA.al
