At the entrance and exit of the city of Elbasan in the direction of Librazhd, in the village of Mengël there were long queues of vehicles during the end of the year holidays and not only.

The reason is the artificial bumps placed on the road to reduce speed.

These obstacles force drivers to slow down or even stop to avoid damaging their vehicles.

Barriers block traffic and create a corkscrew effect, as new or low vehicles are forced to slow down or reduce their speed to zero km/h to pass it.

And as a result, traffic difficulties or even long lines of vehicles are created.

The justification of the Municipality of Elbasan for placing these obstacles is the 9-year school, which has its entrance and exit from the street.

But, instead of finding excuses, the Municipality should find a solution to this daily problem.

In fact, the solution should have been to avoid crossing a national road, so as not to risk children's lives. Opening the door from the street is a mistake.

Another form must be found. Immediate closure, passing students to the side, entering from the side of the school, or overpasses and restrictions with railings to prevent children from entering.

This would increase the movement of vehicles and would no longer cause blockages at the entrance to Elbasan, from the side of Librazhdi, where citizens return from vacations in the southeast area.
