Spain is the 4th country in the European Union for the level of exports. Trade exchanges with this country have been neutral in recent years, without any significant expansion.

Furniture, tiles, fish, medicines, cereals and cars. These are the main goods that come from Spain regularly to the Albanian market. On the other hand, our country sends metals, clothing and fish products.

These are the articles from which the countries benefit most, as the trade with Spain is more extensive.

In terms of value, imports reach about 100 million euros per year, while exports are twice as high.

Trade was restricted in the year of the pandemic to bring you back to normal in 2021.

In the first part of 2022, a halving in value of exports is observed, while imports have increased.

In terms of volume, Spain is Albania's fourth largest trading partner in Europe, and gives us 10% of the goods we buy in the EU./euronews
