State Matura closes the exam cycle/ Director of ZVA Shkodër: Regular

The state Matura exam in Shkodra, as well as throughout the country, has concluded its exam cycle today.

The Director of the Local Education Office, Brisela Kadija, announced that over 1,430 high school students participated in this exam, while 9 students are disabled.

" Today, the last state matura exam was held, the elective subject. In fact, it is among the exams that has a great weight, the responsibility and burden is greater. For the very fact that it is an exam that more or less determines the choice of the graduates. It is also the most difficult exam in management because within one hall we have several types of theses that they may have chosen. We have been very correct in this process. So far, we have had an orderly and incident-free process. Over 1430 students are expected to participate. Over 140 teachers are engaged in the 6 exam centers ," said Kadija.

As the last exam was held, the high school graduates are now familiar with the results of the foreign language as well as the Albanian language and literature.

" The results of language and literature have now come out, and we have maintained the objectives. So, maintaining the average annual grade. We are satisfied with the achievements, it has definitely not been the same situation as with the foreign language because the Albanian language has more specificity, but again the passing rate has been over 98%. The most frequent grades received are 7 and 8, but we also have schools that have had a high number of maximum grades ," said Kadija.

The multiple-choice exam included: Natural Sciences: Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Social Sciences: History, Geography, Civics and Psychology, Philosophy and Sociology, and Economics and Arts.
