The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted to reports that SPAK has a new episode about the corruption of the Kryemadhi-Meta duo.

According to the leader of the PL, this is not true, while he said that he understands the passion to keep alive in the public opinion a couple that has not existed for a year.

"Out of respect for the citizens, whom I have served as President of the Republic, as Prime Minister, as Speaker of the Assembly, and in other executive and parliamentary functions, I distance myself with disgust from the disinformation spread and leaked to the media on the orders of Edi Rama and Altin Dumani, about alleged new episodes of the Meta-Kryemadhi couple.

I understand their passion for keeping a couple in the public eye, who has not even legally existed for a year.

Altin Dumani's passion is even "so ardent" to keep this couple alive in public and in the service of his investigations for 6 years at the behest of Charles McGonigail and Edi Rama, since December 2019, so much so that even in the indictment as a defendant that was communicated to me on May 27, they still had my status as married, when this status has not existed legally for 1 year.

Even more shameful is the news that an illegal card implicating Ilir Meta has been discovered.

No illegal act has occurred and cannot occur by Ilir Meta, neither in the Republic of Albania, nor in the USA, nor in any other country.

Public opinion will see this during the trial on the merits, which cannot be closed like the "closed lists," but will be open to citizens, where we will dismantle the accusations of Edi Rama's servants and where everyone will also see Edi Rama's "witnesses."

Ilir Meta is responsible only for Ilir Meta and for no one else.

Ilir Meta is not responsible for his children, who are adults and he has advised them to always be an example of respecting the law, and even more so he cannot be responsible for his cousins, since as you know, one of them was also friends with Charles McGonigal, the initiator at the request of Edi Rama for launching investigations against Ilir Meta for both the CEZ-DIA case and the Bami case.

But Rama's prosecutors are asking Ilir Meta to take responsibility for the cousins, friends and girlfriends of others.

Since we are on the subject of lobbying and the Freedom Party leadership is very clear, I have a question for public opinion: Has the letter of request for Charles McGongial, who is serving a 4-year prison sentence, been sent or is it being delayed because they started it "swimming"?
